Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My practice is dedicated to helping clients seek understanding of their personal strengths and challenges. I offer a range of tools useful in finding balance and fulfillment in life, as well as in reducing stress, navigating life transitions, improving communication, and building healthier relationships. I work with clients of all ages and economic backgrounds, and I have extensive experience supporting survivors of trauma to heal from painful histories and manage current crisis situations. My work with trauma survivors allows me to connect with a wide range of clients and their experiences. I believe that developing a trusting relationship with my clients is the single most important part of what I do. It is a privilege as a therapist to deeply listen, actively guide and collaborate with my clients in creating a more complete and satisfying experience in their lives. I completed my training in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) with Dr. Laurel Parnell and Emotionally Focused Therapy with Dr. Sue Johnson at Alliant University in San Francisco.
