Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Most of us have the strength and inner resources to deal with the problems we’re faced with in everyday life. However, there are times when troubling circumstances come along that knock us off balance. It could be a broken relationship, a death, a job loss, any number of painful situations. Therapy can help you work through the difficulty whether it is situational and short term or the result of long standing issues from the past which take longer to explore and resolve. Having practiced over 20 years, I am well trained and well qualified in both individual and relationship therapies and can provide safe, supportive environment where you will feel heard and understood with the ultimate goal of restoring your equilibrium and providing you with the tools to live the life that you choose.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
