Middle-aged and older individuals in our culture face unique challenges and opportunities. Challenges often include cumulative loss and grief, changing roles within society and families, shifting identities, the need to find a new sense of purpose, illness and/or pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD, caregiver stress, and the impacts of internalized and external ageism. With commitment and courage and some guidance, midlife and older individuals can take these challenges and transform them, using a variety of effective healing tools, into an amazing and heartening growth of profound richness and creativity.

I am in private practice, delivering telemedicine via Skype and FaceTime or by phone. My area of special emphasis is helping people improve their important relationships, and working with my clients to decrease and stop depression. If you are reading this, chances are one or more of your important relationshps are not working very well. Whether it's difficulty with a partner or spouse, teens or parents, friends or co-workers, a troubled relationship is painful.
