Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
For everyone, there are times in our lives when things can seem overwhelming, frightening, and painful. Making the decision to enter psychotherapy is a choice for healing and personal growth. It is a sign of strength to reach out for help and support when you are struggling. I will help guide you to understand, transform, and resolve life challenges. You will develop new awareness about patterns in your life that no longer serve you and new skills to transform those patterns. I will support you to create deep personal fulfillment and meaning in your life. I am also trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. EFT is a cutting-edge, highly effective, research-based approach. I work with couples to: Affirm strengths in the relationship; Address negative interaction patterns; Understand each other's emotions; Recognize underlying reasons for conflicts; Enhance emotional and physical closeness; Improve communication; Develop a more secure emotional bond. I am here to receive you with compassion and non-judgmental presence. I will help you to get in touch with your own innate strengths and wisdom. I offer a free phone consultation. Please call me for a free phone consultation. I look forward to speaking with you.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
