Personal Statement:
Nicole Wiesen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in San Jose, CA. She has had over 6 years experience in providing individual, couples, and group counseling in both in-patient and out-patient settings. She has worked as a case manager and therapist at Advent Group Ministries for both foster care families and group home adolescents. She has also worked in the Franklin McKinley School District as a school counselor providing counseling and psycho-educational groups for students in grades K-6.

The focus of treatment in working with these populations include behavior modification, child abuse and trauma, family conflict, parenting, anger management, depression and other mood disorders, chemical dependency, foster care and adoption issues. She also has done volunteer work at the Crisis Pregnancy Center in San Francisco and has training in domestic violence issues and prevention.
