Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with many years experience providing therapy to a broad range of clients. As a former university professor in Mexico City, I have a thorough theoretical and practical background in family therapy. I am bilingual, bicultural, and experienced in navigating familial issues through a cross-cultural lens. My therapeutic strategy involves supporting clients as they find their own internal sources of strength to overcome familial, martial, and personal challenges. With attention to each client’s unique needs, I focus on helping clients find happiness in all aspects of their life by employing techniques such as Narrative, Experiential, Systems and Solution-focused therapy. I focus on guiding clients through challenges that impede them from achieving the mental health, familial harmony, and happiness that they deserve. My experience working with diverse issues has resulted in a very high rate of success and client rehabilitation. Please call me for an initial consultation.
