Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, with an extensive background in performing arts and bodymind research. I am currently in the Analyst Training Program at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles. I am trained in dynamic approaches to painful dillemas, including work with dreams, art, movement, journaling and sand play therapy.

The art of living on a spiritual or soulful path calls for techniques and tools for attendance to both the obstacles and enthusiasms found along the way. We will identify and work to change persistent patterns of behavior that may be manifesting as depression, addiction, or anxiety. My work with couples includes providing tools for communication, and for how to be truly loving as their relationship evolves in the natural and sometimes turbulant growth of the life cycle.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
