Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Hello, I have been providing psychotherapy with all ages and all different populations for almost thirty years. I truly have a gift of providing empathy and rapport and helping individuals acknowledge their pain and move toward solutions through personal and spiritual growth. I have had tremendous success in working with the spirited, strong willed child and adolescent in helping parents develop improved parenting skills and addressing conflict resolution within families. I also empower women and men to move from the role of a victim to a survivor, thriver role. I also specialize in relationship counseling, and issues pertaining to divorce. In addition, my practice targets women and men’s issues in healing childhood trauma. I want to congratulate you in taking the first step in taking this challenge in seeking psychotherapy. You are now opening the door for increased insight and personal growth. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you with this journey.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
