Personal Statement:
Patricia Craine, MA, MFT, is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in short term therapy with a positive and balanced approach. She has been in practice for over 29 years, with the therapeutic emphasis is on health, growth, and learning. She works with individuals, adults, couples and families, particularly in areas of communication and problem solving. Also included in her practice are addictions and co-dependency issues, self-esteem/empowerment, stress reduction, and women's issues including infertility, adoption, and eating disorders. Her therapeutic approach is Cognitive/Behavioral in theory.
I have been married for 37 years, have 2 grandchildren with a third soon, I have also been a desert resident for 40 years, Patricia has been an active member in her community. I am currently on the board of Guide Dogs of the Desert, I also volunteer for the Animal Samaritans, Dusty Wings and Delta Gamma, raising guide dogs, and working with the visually impaired toward their mobility and independence.
Patricia has also written two books “Wendy’s Club… For Women Hooked On “Peter Pans” – How to Break the Addiction and “Raindrops to Rainbows” … About Ruby, the Little Hummingbird Who was Too Flutterbusy, To See the Beauty of Life Around Her.
