Personal Statement:
Patricia Sturdy Goldsmith, MBA, PhD, works from psychodynamic, intersubjective and family systems perspectives to assist clients feel cohesive and vitalized. Dr. Goldsmith works effectively with complex trauma, abuse, and stress issues creating the clinical issues of PTSD, dissociative disorders, anxiety and major depression. <p> Dr. Goldsmith earned a Ph.D. in Family and Family Therapy from the California Graduate Institute, an M.B.A. in strategic planning from UCLA, and a B.A. in government from Cornell University. Both her thirty five years as a management consultant and her clinical experience help her provide interventions for the workplace. Her doctoral dissertation focused on treatment for multigenerational families in business together-now an area of special expertise. <p> Dr. Goldsmith is currently a candidate for a Psy.D. at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. Working in Westwood, she works with many UCLA employees.
