Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you struggling just with getting by day to day or have chronic physical or mental health issues that are creating a feeling of “stuckness?” Perhaps you feel as if you are outside society’s construct of normal in your identity of self, attraction, and self-expression. Let’s explore together what is going on and help you develop a new way of looking at yourself and life. I can help you develop new skills for coping. - I work from an eclectic therapeutic approach to create a safe environment and empower my clients, to affect change. I approach the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative team approach allowing us to explore emotional and personal challenges. - I work with teens, adults, and elders on life issues, gender identity (TGNC), sexual & romantic attraction (LGBQ+), HIV/AIDS, sex issues, and chronic physical & mental issues. I work with couples on relationships. I work with BDSM, kink, polyamory, and more.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
