Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Hi!
Coming from a holistic background, philosophy, and lifestyle, healing from a mind, body, and spirit perspective is deeply integrated into my work. To support each person in expressing their authentic selves, needs, and desires, I utilize several modalities of expression. Some of these modalities include Art, Somatic Techniques, Narrative, CBT, and Mindfulness. I am also trained in Brief Therapy methods for those who want support with a specific challenge or prefer therapy in small pieces at a time.
I love working with children, adolescents, and with their families, and have LOTS of experience with this. I also work with couples and individual adults struggling with various challenges that life naturally brings.
Thank you and I look forward to meeting you.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
