Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I believe in offering my patients a confidential non judgmental approach to psychotherapy in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I can help you with your couples or family problems, your teen and children issues. I also deal with blended family difficulties with my background from an inpatient hospital experience; I am here to offer my specialties in Panic Disorder, PTST, ADHD, and Depression. When dealing with Panic, PTST and anxiety disorders I believe in taking an investigated approach of the source of the problem as well as teaching relaxation and positive thinking to help the patient gain control.

Depression involves a loss of hope, and I help you understand the formula to find that hope again. I have been working with ADHD patients since the beginning of my practice and I find a team approach of working closely with parents and teachers to be very helpful.

I also feel that it is often helpful to work with more than just the teen or the child in therapy and include the parents in the session as well.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
