Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you contemplating a change in your life? Do you find yourself often feeling stuck with life? Do you find it a struggle building fulfilling relationship? Therapy can help!! My goal as a therapist is to work with you to help you better understand and resolve challenges in your life. Therapy can be hard but taking initiatives towards change can be extremely gratifying as well. I see us human beings from a system perspective. We are who we are because of life experiences we created collaboratively with family, friends, and the society. I also believe we all have inner strengths that can be brought to light. Therapy is one useful tool to help you achieve this goal. Therapy is a tool to knowing yourself and empowering yourself to grow. Yes! Therapy can be hard. Therefore, I aim to create a safe and supportive atmosphere to make possible any significant self exploration one could have.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
