Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
With over a decade of experience I bring a combination of traditional psychotherapy with movement, body awareness and spirituality. I help clients unlock issues which are literally held inside the body; like fear, anger, depression and creative blocks. I unlock these issues through my proprietary work merging talk therapy with expressive arts (sometimes with breath & movement techniques) so that these issues don’t become diseases in our bodies. I believe that counseling is about helping clients reach their goals while creating a life that is meaningful. My clients develop an awareness of their needs and a new found ability to experience greater aliveness, creativity and fulfillment in their lives.

Psychotherapy helps us better understand our thoughts, feeling and relationships with others. It also helps us make connections between past experiences and present day behaviors.

Finding a therapist who is a good fit for you is very important. I bring tremendous personal warmth, deep respect and strong clinical experience to my practice. By creating a safe, relaxed, non-judgmental space, I will help you move to your fullest potential.

You do not need to suffer anymore. Please call today for your free telephone consultation. Inner peace can be yours.

Pamela J. Blawusch, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
