Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
If you are feeling overwhelmed, unmotivated, sad, frustrated or stagnant with your life, I would very much like to offer my support. Therapy can be an effective way to work through challenges and realize your true path. In our work together, we would aim to increase your quality of life through developing a trusting alliance between us, addressing your needs, defining your goals, removing any unhelpful blocks, building healthy coping skills that work for you, and improving how you relate to yourself and others. It is my goal to provide a safe, nurturing environment for clients.

About My Practice

Office Hours
Available mid-morning and evening
Services
I am interested in helping those suffering from daily stress, social anxiety, phobias, chronic worrying, and panic attacks. Other issues that I offer support in are academic underachievement, career counseling, coping skills, depression, divorce, family conflict, infertility, life coaching, loss or grief, parenting, peer relationships, relationship issues, self esteem, spirituality, and weight loss. My degree is with a transpersonal/holistic studies emphasis. I consider each facet to a person (biological, psychological, social, spiritual) and how they combine to create the authentic Self. In doing so, clients are able to gain a clearer sense of who they are and where they want or need to go in life.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
