Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
For over twenty years, I have had the privilege of helping people heal and grow.

It is important to me to offer a safe and open space so that my clients are able to explore whatever issues, concerns, or goals they may have.

I have been told that I have a highly developed ability to help people connect with their strength and their wisdom. I have a strong sense of intuition and compassion. I use direct as well as more subtle methods to help my clients reach to their core issues and to help them work through them in satisfying ways. These include hypnotherapy and other experiential approaches.

I enjoy helping people deepen their relationship with themselves and with others.

Some of the issues my clients bring me are relationship issues, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, cancer and other life-threatening illness, ADD/ADHD, parenting, addictions, intimacy, sexuality, and spirituality.

I am a licensed MFT with offices in both Albany and Pleasant Hill. I am available to do individual, couple, family, and child psychotherapy. I specialize in Transpersonal Psychotherapy.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
