Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you feeling stuck? Feeling sad, overwhelmed, anxious or angry? If you need to make changes in your life or need more support than you are getting, let me help. I offer compassionate, experienced support for bereavement and loss, anticipatory grief, facing a scary diagnosis, life-threatening illness, challenges of aging, significant transitions and other big life events, and help with the stresses of daily life. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist trained in trauma, body-mind and attachment techniques as well as grief and loss, I focus on supporting resilience, furthering self-awareness, and improving relationships. I believe it is important to honor both the old and the new ways of taking care of ourselves. I can help you manage difficult life changes and create new meaning and appreciation. I will assist you with creating more effective tools for navigating life's challenges. Specialties include grief/loss, aging concerns, end of life, adjustments to various life-phase changes and accompanying anxiety and other emotions, and relationships of any kind. I work with individuals, parent-child dyads, couples and families of all ages utilizing a variety of approaches that best meet my clients' needs.
