Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Yes! Finally, you can now let go of old, intrusive, negative thoughts that stop you from getting what you want in life. You will learn new, more effective ways of responding to people and situations; let go of debilitating fears and anxieties; learn to set safe boundaries for yourself. I see my clients as resourceful, unigue individuals. In a safe, supportive environment, I will work with you to reach their goals. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Body/Mind awareness, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Hypnosis, Guided Imagery, (effective for future performance) and Traditional Psychotherapies, to help clients move through difficult times, past and present, experience mood enhancement, stress and anxiety reduction, increased optimism, energy and motivation. Clients learn stress and anxiety management, the coping tools you want and need, feeling better and more in control to move foward in your personal and professional life. In my work with couples, we look at the repeated patterns of interactions and behaviors which have lead to unresolved conflict. In our sessions, couples learn to listen to their partner without judgment, without defensiveness, without reacting. Learning a new way to communicate with each other, couples feel less vulnerable, safer to express themself. A more satisfying, intimate and empathic relationship is created. Couples soon find that humor and laughter is once again a part of their relationship.
