Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I believe the process of counseling is a normal way to deal with the complicated stress that the modern world brings to bear on our contemporary family life. I provide a safe, confidential, intimate setting that allows you to explore and deal with the issues that are impacting your daily life. As a mother of three and a wife of thirty-three years I have dealt with many of the parenting and relationship issues that you are facing. As a former elementary school teacher I know the stresses and strains of guiding our children through the California educational system. I enjoy working with individuals, couples adolescents and children. I'm humorous, kind and easy to talk to. Please call for a free half-hour consultation.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
