Personal Statement:
Dr. Robert John Bischoff is a psychotherapist in full time private practice and consultant since 1976. In addition to treating depression, anxiety and other psychological disorders, he specializes in chemical dependency assessment and treatment and in the authoring of computerized assessment and diagnostic software. He has been involved in the design and implementation of psychological assessment processes for inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency treatment and prevention programs. His past consulting has included the majority of hospitals in the “Silicon Valley” (Santa Clara County, CA). He is currently a consultant to both Cornerstone Recovery in San Jose and Recovery Management Systems in Concord, California; both are alcohol and drug recovery treatment centers.
