Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
ACTION ORIENTED, GOAL SPECIFIC and FULLY ENGAGED. Counseling should make a REAL impact with measurable results you can see and feel. We’ll work with homework, goals and contracts – methods proven to achieve success. Licensed 19 years, my training is as a transpersonal and family systems therapist. I’ve particularly adept with all kinds of families, couples, adolescents and sexual orientation. I will treat children age 7 and up.

There is no substitute for experience; however, feeling a connection to your counselor is critical. Call me for a free introduction to see if we’re fit. There is no crisis too great or problem too small. Reaching out is the hard part – it will get better from here.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
