Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
“IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO HAVE A HAPPY CHILDHOOD”

This quote embodies the core belief that I bring to my practice. Many people bring wounds from childhood into their adult lives. This pain often shows up as depression, anxiety, PTSD and dysfunctional relationships. In counseling, you can become aware of how those old wounds impact your life, grieve fully and learn healthier ways to get your needs met.

I am constantly learning new, innovative ways to help people get unstuck from their past so they can live a life of freedom and joy. I love to give people the tools that they can use to feel in control of their feelings and responses. If you feel trapped by emotional pain and destructive ways of being in the world and want relief from reactivity in relationships, please contact me.

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to anyone interested in my services.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I am in private practice, delivering telemedicine via Skype and FaceTime or by phone. My area of special emphasis is helping people improve their important relationships, and working with my clients to decrease and stop depression. If you are reading this, chances are one or more of your important relationshps are not working very well. Whether it's difficulty with a partner or spouse, teens or parents, friends or co-workers, a troubled relationship is painful.
