Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
It is my belief that therapy can be beneficial to most people at some point in their lives. We all struggle at times. Circumstances arise that cause trauma or loss or a crisis. Sometimes basic life transitions such as entering or graduating from college, marriage, having children, becoming a homeowner, job changes, parenting teens, and empty nest become opportune times for additional support. Therapy can also be a chance for developing a deeper understanding of ourselves – why we think, feel and behave in certain ways that may interfere in our relationships and in our own personal happiness. In therapy one can begin to grow and adapt new ways of looking at oneself in a safe and trusting environment. My passion for this work is compelling and my approach is empathic, supportive and interactive for both long-term intensive work, as well as short-term therapy. I embrace a diverse clientele made up of individuals, couples, families and groups. Please feel free to visit my website at www.therapybysabine.com for further information. I would welcome the opportunity to work with you!
