Personal Statement:
Twenty-five years of psychotherapeutic practice in the private and public sectors converge with prior professional teaching experience and a decade of foreign residence while working in the fields of education, social research and international relations, to offer clients access to culturally-informed, theoretically-grounded, contextually integrated psychotherapy and consultation services in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

A compassionate nature and comprehensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of relationship friction, responses to traumatic events, bereavement, existential crises, transcultural adjustment stress, adolescent quandaries, depression, anxiety and critical incident intervention, provide clients with alternative modalities including talk therapy, art therapy, dream work, relaxation techniques, EMDR, diagnostic testing and psychiatric referrals.
