Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Feeling overwhelmed? Feeling not as joyful as you thought you'd be as a new parent? You don’t have to go through this alone! I can help!

I help new Moms and Dads who are finding parenthood isn’t quite what they imagined it would be.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have dedicated my career to working with new parents, teaching them ways to effectively and capably deal with stress during this new time of their lives; to feel joy in being a new parent like they want to, to feel more like themselves again, and to reconnect as partners and not just parents.

Therapy can provide a place for you where you feel safe in talking about your thoughts and feeling without fear of feeling ashamed or negatively judged.

I look forward to helping you through to finding the joy in being a parent!

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
