Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I help perfectionists find joy and freedom in not being perfect. I work to release the anxiety, depression, and grief that can be caused by attempting to control. I'm very collaborative and work creatively in order to assist clients in embracing their own internal power. I use a variety of creative arts therapy, talk therapy, and depth hypnosis to help clients get in touch with their truth. Focusing on connection versus perfection. I hold space in my practice for queer couples. Since queer couples don't have as many blueprints for relationships and often have to rely on heteronormative models, I believe it's essential that there's a forum for defining and redefining what it means to address issues specific to being queer.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
