Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
We all have times when we need an impartial sounding board for life’s ups and downs, a trustworthy environment for dealing with loneliness, anxiety, confusion, or even depression. Or, we may simply need someone to reflect with, to make a shift from one point to the next with the assistance of someone trained to provide some insight. This emotional awareness can help build self-confidence and equip us with resources to navigate difficult or uncertain terrain. My clinical approach involves both creative arts techniques that potentially get you on your feet (depending on your comfort level!) as well as traditional talk therapy. In addition to creative arts therapies, I incorporate holistic approaches, mindfulness techniques, reminiscing, and narrative therapy. No matter what your needs are, I’m here to help. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

I am in private practice, delivering telemedicine via Skype and FaceTime or by phone. My area of special emphasis is helping people improve their important relationships, and working with my clients to decrease and stop depression. Whether it's difficulty with a partner or spouse, teens or parents, friends or co-workers, a troubled relationship is painful.
