Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Often pain, anxiety, discontent, depression or feelings of being stuck in our lives is trying to tell us something. Our emotions are eloquent communicators. Through the process of psychotherapy we can learn to utilize this information. With self exploration and new insights, we can consciously create richer, more meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Even in the best o times, people have recognized the benefits of addressing, through counseling, the difficulties that limit their personal and work lives. In these very challenging times, familiar coping strategies may no longer be working and the insight gained through therapy can be even more valuable. In a safe, respectful, confidential environment, you can learn how to build more effective ways to relate to others, reduce stress, and live more authentically.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
