Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have been in practice for (8) years and during that time have developed a specialization in substance abuse/chemical dependency and addiction treatment. I found that in a lot of cases the depressed and anxious client was self-medicating in some way to alter underlying feelings of depression and anxiety. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral and psychodynamic techniques, incorporating somatic work to synergize the mind/body union.

I also have an acute understanding of the stressors and anxieties related to the Herculean task of the artist/ actor.

My sessions are 50 minutes long and cost $100 dollars ($150 for 100 minute sessions). I take most PPO insurance plans and ask that clients contact my insurance specialist Stacey Flynn at telephone #: 949-419-5700 to discuss all your questions pertaining to your behavioral health insurance benefits.”

Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
