Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I specialize in relationships whether you are an individual, a couple or a family. I create a safe space where you may begin to explore feelings and to talk about your losses and heartaches. Perhaps there are things that you have kept secret and never talked to anyone about them. I listen. I walk along side you. I care. Or perhaps you wish to grow in your understanding of yourself with others. With a non-blaming stance we work together toward your emotional growth and healing. As a seasoned therapist, being a witness to your story --- your struggles, your strengths & your successes ---is one of the joys of my life. I have rich experience with people from a variety of cultural, ethnic and spiritual backgrounds reflecting the nature of our Los Angeles. I readily partner with clients from a faith perspective, as I understand the importance of spirituality in one's story. Don't let fear keep you stuck. Transformation is possible!

About My Practice

Office Hours
Weekdays, Evening, and Saturday
Services include: those experiencing the waves of emotion from loss, grief, chronicc illness and trauma. I specialize in relationships at all life stages: premarital and seriously involved couples; parents stressed over being new parents and puzzled by the meaning of their child's behavior,as well as mothers experiencing post partum; young people on their journey to adulthood and their own loving, relationships. I especially welcome couples yearning for love and trustworthy marriages...once again...but, bitterly disappointed by infidelity, broken promises and life stressors. Those couples ready to call it quits. In those latter years I welcome caregivers of their own parents who may be sandwiched between parents growing older at the same time they are trying to launch their adult children and keep their own marriage together.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
