Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Treating individuals, couples, and families, using multiple techniques, I have had extensive experience with numerous addictions, codependency, abuse, family of origin issues, and relational issues. Having had twenty years of experience in the medical field as a Registered Nurse before becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist fourteen years ago, I have an understanding of many physical as well as emotional issues. Unique factors pertaining to me are that I am a Registered Nurse as well as a MFT, I am an adjunct professor in a local University, and have thirteen years experience in forensic mental health in a local County Jail system.

About My Practice

Office Hours

Couples, Individuals, families. I have participated in extensive couples training and many have been able to save their relationships with the "three of us" working towards this common goal. I also provide pre-marital counseling and have found the best time to participate in this, often fun, type of counseling is before the wedding is planned. I have also been trained in Prolonged Exposure Treatment for PTSD.
