Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Welcome. Life presents many challenges to our ability to stay balanced and centered in our day to day life and sometimes we need additional support in order to make sense of our current circumstances. The process of therapy and the journey of self-discovery in a supportive environment can help untangle confusing thoughts, feelings and behavioral patterns that seem to be keeping you stuck. I believe it is essential to create a safe, non-judgmental, empathic environment for my clients, which includes, most importantly, a safe, non-judgmental, empathic therapeutic relationship. “I work with my clients to foster core changes and developments that will enable them to live a happier and more successful life. Therapy is a powerful vehicle for making differences we want in our lives and enabling us to take a proactive stance in choosing and creating the life we want. Through therapy we learn about our personal patterns of thinking, feeling and relating and can gradually let go of unwanted patterns. Whatever change you are hoping for in your life or your child’s, I do hope you continue to prioritize and pursue this goal. I am happy to speak with you over the phone, email or in person to see if we can work together towards the change you hope for in your life.”
