My intention is to help clients have healthy, fulfilling relationships with themselves and the people in their lives. I work to gain your trust and be your ally as you take on the challenges life places before you, including difficult transitions due to age. Paramount to this therapeutic collaboration is empathy for your feelings and compassion for your unique life experiences. Our work together will be filled with respect, gentleness and consideration as you search for the meaningful, integrated life you deserve. I have a strong commitment to expand my knowledge and training, which has included becoming a Certified Bereavement Facilitator through Beyond Loss at Glendale Adventist Hospital, attending several workshops and trainings on treating trauma in children and adults, as well as training on attachment, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and current research-based treatments addressing domestic violence. I also have a particular interest in working with elderly clients struggling with life transitions. I am willing to visit elderly clients in their homes for their convenience.
