Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience in individual and couple's counseling. My expertise is in anxiety disorders, stress management and depression. My background is very diverse and multi-cultural and I conduct therapy in Spanish, Farsi and French, aside from English. In therapy I combine Cognitive Therapy with a Spiritual perspective along with Stress Management techniques to help individuals grow and attain their full potential. My unique and comprehensive orientation combining Eastern Spiritual Wisdom with Traditional Psychotherapy speeds up the therapeutic process and helps clients to create changes at a much deeper level.

We each have our answers within us. However, at times, life experiences can be so confusing that we may develop reactive and defensive patterns of coping. I believe in the unlimited potential of the human spirit and strive to help individuals break away from destructive patterns so they are able to live fully and purposefully.
