Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are your needs being met as you pursue a Life that seems fulfilling and in Balance? In my psychotherapy work, my goal is to assist you in empowering yourself on a Journey of growth in the pursuit of a richly rewarding life! My approach to psychotherapy is integrative-utilizing a Humanistic and Relational approach-while incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt, Existential, and Narrative Therapies with respect for a classically psycho-dynamic process of change to occur. My clientele is diverse and has been inclusive of the LGBTQ community as well as individuals, couples and families with a heterosexual orientation. Together, we have collaborated to initiate personal change by coping with various mood presentations such as depression and anxiety, while also developing resiliency in the presence of grief, loss and trauma-and, not least of all, addressing concerns around aging.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
