Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I bring to therapy a variety of unique skills coupled with an empathic approach to helping a person reach their goals for life change. As a psychotherapist, I feel comfortable working with relationship challenges including developmental self concepts that are limiting and which often lead to anxieties and depressive states. I see myself as a guide in which I help a person feel both safe as well as to develop a sense of who they are and what they hope and dream to be.

I also am a skilled EEG Neurotherapist, with training in assessment and treatment utilizing advanced EEG brain mapping techniques. EEG Neurofeedback can help in the management of ADD/ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Aspergers Syndrome, Depression and oftentimes helps re-regulate the Central Nervous System to function at it’s highest level. In many cases, medication dependency has been reduced or eliminated with EEG Neurofeedback.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
