Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have over 20 years of experience counseling adult individuals and couples who have come to me with a wide variety of issues which often include stress, confusion and a sense of helplessness. At any given time, about half of my clients are couples. I enjoy my work and would feel privileged to have the opportunity to partner with you to identify and resolve the issues which are so painful to you and/or your partner.

Services
I see adult individuals and couples for a wide variety of issues are the causes of stress, anxiety or depression. Couples often come to my office to resolve the pain of a recent affair, or to sort out communication problems which result from differences of perspective, feeling "stuck", or from feelings of helplessness to address and resolve difficult problems. Individuals often seek help for stress or depression from feeling overwhelmed, stuck in a relationship or job that feels stressful or empty.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
