Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Any parent can agree that navigating the transition from preteen to adolescence and young adulthood can be a difficult experience that sometimes causes conflict within the family. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing psychotherapy to families of acting-out adolescents. I help individuals and families interrupt the (dysfunctional, unhealthy, negative, problematic) cycles that create pain, depression, anger, fear, anxiety, hopelessness or violence that disrupts their lives.I also specialize in couples therapy, helping to address the communication, problem-solving and intimacy issues that surround relationships. Together, we will work to uncover the underlying thoughts and feelings associated with behaviors to bring about meaningful and lasting change.
