Personal Statement

Personal Statement:

I believe we all get stuck sometimes. What does our past (our core beliefs, expectations …) say about us and how has this impacted you today? Learn where this comes from in your life and how to best address it. It’s ok to ask for help. I love what I do, and I believe I can make a difference.

I look at where you become discouraged and use a strength-based approach to explore the deep-seeded beliefs that may hamper you in achieving your goals. I will also help you explore your relationships and how to best enhance them.

I have had wonderful experiences in managing counseling programs but, I truly missed the hands-on counseling work. This led me to opening offices in Pomona/Claremont and Chino. I also continue to supervise clinicians, as well as remain a school district consultant, helping to address the more crisis-oriented issues facing children and their families.

Featured Therapist

Barbara Witney, MA
Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
