Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have been a therapist for over twenty years and have had the opportunity to work with many different clients and circumstances along the way. I am constantly amazed by the strength and perseverance of my clients and I greatly appreciate that they allow me into their lives so that we can work through their challenges together. Please read below for my areas of expertise. In particular, I have worked extensively with children and parents, many of divorced families. My adult clients are often dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and childhood issues. As a credentialed art therapist, I may use art as an additional means of expression and communication in therapy. Please feel free to call me for more information about therapy or about the services I have to offer.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
