Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Welcome and thank you for visiting me online. I am a warm and compassionate, insight oriented therapist who can help you navigate the challenges in your life and overcome the obstacles in your relationships. Feelings of overwhelm, sadness, anger or confusion are usually good indicators that it is time for therapy. Whether you are facing a particular challenge or just feeling stuck and at a loss for what to do, the therapeutic process can help you feel better and move forward with your life. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). This means that I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families; addressing relationship conflicts in heterosexual and gay/lesbian couples and families; resolving childhood trauma and emotional abuse issues; processing grief and loss; and navigating woman's issues associated with mid-life transitions and menopause. Good for you! You have recognized that something in your life is not working and are taking the first important step to address it. Please call or email me to set up an appointment.
