Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Do you want to feel as good on the inside as you appear on the outside… capable, likeable, and “successful”, but not always good enough?

Are you worn down by chronic worry, fretful sleep, low moods and energy? Do relationships leave you drained, lonely and frustrated? Do you tend to avoid conflict or argue and over-react? Are you meeting everyone’s needs but your own?

These may be symptoms of current situations stress or subtle, unresolved early experiences that continue to impact your life. You can find relief, reduce emotional distress, develop the capacity for fulfilling relationships and increase your confidence at work.

For two decades I have specialized in repairing the affects of childhood abuse and neglect and improve how it impacts our important love relationships. I work well with individuals and couples of all ethnic, religious and sexual orientation backgrounds. I offer group therapy to enhance personal growth.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
