Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I offer a healing environment conducive to personal growth and recovery from negative life experiences. Sometimes negative life experiences can affect our relationships and our ability to enjoy life. This can happen whether these negative experiences are traumatic in nature or the result of challenging life events. My personal style is relaxed, warm, attentive and professional. The majority of my training is in depth psychology. This means that I believe we have a deep, unconscious life that affects our everyday activities and can be a source of practical information and strength. I work in the here and now along with you to determine our goals in order to develop a plan for change. For some people their faith tradition and/or spirituality play a significant role, especially during difficult times. I recognize the importance of this aspect of life. I am open to working with people who wish to include their faith or spirituality as an element in their process of change. I offer a free telephone consultation if you would like more information about how I might be able to help you.
