Personal Statement:
I am committed to assisting clients create meaningful change in their lives. Since 1986, I have been supporting individuals, families and groups in achieving personal goals, creating emotional health and transforming negative life patterns. My personal commitment is to utilize effective healing strategies to help clients access their inner healing resources and create meaningful personal and systemic change. Psychotherapy offers an excellent opportunity to develop self confidence, the ability to forgive, positive beliefs, effective problem solving and decision making abilities, effective communication skills and compassion for self and others. My special areas of interest and expertise include recovery from trauma, relationship conflicts, mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, eating disorders, adolescent development, adoption/blended family issues, collaborative practice coaching/child specialist(peaceful divorce/dissolution assistance) as well as general personal growth and adult development support.
