Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My name is Tami Friedkin. I feel privileged to write a statement about myself that will let you get a picture of who I am. Hopefully it will allow you to decide if I am someone that you may like to work with.

I believe that we are all here in life to grow and find our true purpose. To go deep within ourselves to contact the part of ourselves which is all good and happy and fulfilled. Often in life past experience can cover our true nature and so exploration then becomes necessary.

I believe it is my job as a therapist to reflect to you who you truly are which is good at the very center of your being. It is my job to connect with you, to hear you and to support what you are needing. I do this by listening, caring, advising when needed and most importantly being there so you know you are not alone. I hope you will reach out and call.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
