Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with emphasis in Marriage and Family from Azusa Pacific University. Acquiring my degree at a Christian university, has enabled me to work with both Christian and non-Christian clients. Beyond this, I have attended the externship and advanced externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy, a model that is empirically validated for couples. Also, I have experience working with sexual assault and molestation survivors, both male and female. Frequently, I utilize EMDR, an approach that helps to process trauma. In addition, I have a heart for teenagers and have been a therapist for group homes. I hope this information is helpful; if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at 909-229-1328.
