Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I'm in private practice and specialize in trauma, depression and anxiety disorders. I use an integrative, mind/body approach. I am a Certified Bioenergetic Analyst (CBT) as well as trained in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. Research has shown that in order to make lasting changes, the body and the mind need to be included in the therapeutic process. I believe that life's experiences offer a doorway to our true selves, and are best accessed within the safety of the therapeutic relationship.

Through the exploration of one's mind and the body, healing our relationships, from trauma and the wounds that life brings is facilitated, offering opportunity to reclaim one's full potential. Thus, further accessing one's joy, love, creativity, spirituality, sexuality and zest for life.

I have offices in Escondido and San Diego. Please see my web site for further information about both:

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
