Professional Personal Statement I have been in private practice for 28 years. During this time I have focused on becoming knowledgeable and experienced in a few areas. I work often with adults facing issues related to depression and anxiety, originating most often thru current life stresses, from impact of past traumas (abuse, loss, children of substance abusing parents), or from styles of relating learned earlier in life. Because these issues effect relationships, I also work with couples and families to help them resolve the issues that prevent them from effectively communicating. I work extensively with children ages 4 thru adolescence, the younger ages in play therapy at a play therapy center in my offices. Issues addressed are anxiety, depression, behaivoral issues, ADHD, and loss. My M.A., degree is from Biola University which included classes from Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology and Talbot Seminary. My approach integrates psychological and theological prinicples to help clients.
