Professional Personal Statement
Our culture is obsessed with sex, and yet so few of us really know what it means to have healthy, connected, intimate sex. Because we're so obsessed with sex on the one hand and so afraid to really talk about it on the other, our sexuality can too easily become damaged. Because of this I specialize in treating individuals, couples and partners who are working through issues related to sexual addiction and compulsivity. I believe that effective treatment is multifaceted. Therefore, I utilize my diverse background and training to help clients recover physical, emotional, mental, relational, sexual, and spiritual wholeness. I have received two masters degrees in Marital and Family Therapy and Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. I am sensitive towards those who elect to keep spirituality separate from psychotherapy, but for those who would like spirituality and religion integrated into therapy I am uniquely qualified to do so.

Services:I provide services to individuals, couples, and families struggling with issues around sex addiction and compulsivity, pornography addiction, and men's issues. I offer two therapy groups treating sex addiction and compulsivity, and I take very seriously the complexities of working in this sensitive area. In addition to my specialty in treating sexual addiction and compulsivity, I offer more traditional therapy for issues around depression, anxiety, identity, and intimacy. I work with all my clients collaboratively to create a plan that can lead to satisfaction and wholeness in life.
