Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I work with individuals and couples. If you seek help to get unstuck from painful feelings, recurring anxious thoughts, and repetitive behaviors, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation and a first appointment at a reduced fee of $50. I want to hear your story and help you through this difficult time. COUPLES: If anger, loneliness, and fear are in your relationship, I have helped many couples transform their pain into a deeper, more loving connection. If you enjoy an otherwise stable relationship and seek tools for further closeness and cooperation (aka pre-marital counseling), this is an area of special interest. I specialize in helping to re-focus a sense of purpose...a way to step into your life more completely. For some, this may include bringing clarity to the process of illness and dying. For others, especially men, this may include taking action if feeling adrift. In all my work, Mindfulness techniques are especially effective. Thomas Y. Simon, MFT (MFT81840).
